Important Dates & Information
Hello families, lots of things going on this month. Going to be busy and lots of fun. First of all as we know, Covid is in it’s 7 month. Kinderwood takes pride in continuing to maintain a safe and healthy environment for our kids.
To all our “wait list” children, Kinderwood is ready for you to come join all the fun with your new friends. We are fully staffed and ready to have you learn in our new social grouping activities. Please be assured that Kinderwood is continuing to follow the strict Covid guidelines
Normally we raise our tuition in August, but due to the pandemic we waited as long as we could for the benefit of our families. However, our bills have been raised and our teachers would like a little extra in their pay as well. Starting on Monday, November 2, the rates will go up $10.00 across the board. The second full time child will continue receiving a 10% discount as well as our police, fire and military officers. Kinderwood thanks all of you for your unrelenting courage in helping our community and our country. The gratitude in our hearts is never ending.
We know that these are trying times for everyone. We are doing the best we possibly can to keep things normal for the children. Please note that our cut off time to have your child here in the morning is 9:00 am. I know there is a line to get into the school, but we need your cooperation in starting the academics on time. Please give yourself ample time to have your child in class by 9:00am. If there is anything Kinderwood can do for you, please let us know.
Hopefully, within the next week we will have an updated website. New pictures, new children, new teachers. Can’t wait to share all the positive energy and fun activities the teachers have planned. We have also been introducing new kid friendly food items for the past few weeks. When the children let us know what their favorites are we will update the menu and make sure all parents receive one. We will continue to honor the allergies of each child .
On Friday, October 23, the PUMPKIN PATCH will be coming to Kinderwood. Just because we can’t take the kids anywhere doesn’t mean we give up. Not only will there be pumpkins to be picked, there will also be horses. Yippeeeeee. We will dress each child in a cowboy outfit and take a picture of them on the horse by our professional photographer.
If they don’t want to go on the horse then we will stand beside it. We want to make the day as much fun as possible. The picture will be our gift to you.
On Friday, October 30, we will be celebrating Halloweeen. Please have your child come in their costume for our TRICK OR TREAT parade. The children will be going to each doorway in the school. After the parade we will have other fun activities for the children. Please remember we do not want any guns, swords, or knives to be included in their costumes. We are asking the parents to donate a bag of candy (no choking hazards) or other treats such as little boxes of crayons, stickers, raisins, and such. Please also remember we have children allergic to peanuts so be aware of the contents of the treats. This is one of the best days of the year for our children. Unfortunately, as years prior, we can not have the parents participate due to Covid. We will be taking pictures and videos all during the day and posting them on our FaceBook and website page for you to enjoy.
Our “Back to School” packets will be sent out to all parents on Thursday, October 1st. Please make sure you receive it as there will be lots of very important information that needs to be signed and returned by Friday, October 9th.
As always, thank you for sharing your children with us.
