                                     Important 2017 Summer Dates:
Only room 4 & 5 children will go on fieldtrips. No siblings will be allowed and we always need
chaperones. Bus space is limited so if you are chaperoning we ask that you please meet us at
the designated fieldtrip with your child. This does not apply to the Children’s Discovery
Museum since we will be on light rail. Please feel free to see Ms. Char if you have any
questions or concerns regarding the summer program.

  • Wednesday, 7th - Room 5 Permission Slips are due.
  • Wednesday, 14th- Room 5 Graduation: All graduates must be in Room 5 at 6:15pm
  • Ceremony to start at 6:30pm in school parking lot.
  • Friday, 16th – Rm 5 ONLY Graduation Field trip – Golfland 9am
  • 19th-23rd:  Safety Week
  • Rm 2-5 Sign-ups for 6/30 Friendship Fruit Salad will be on the front sign ins.
  • 26th-30th: Young Chef’s Week
  • Wednesday, 28th: Build-A-Bear comes to Kinderwood- Rooms 3-5 will each get to make
    their very own Kinderwood Bear!
  • Friday, 30th Friendship Fruit Salad! Please be sure to bring in your fruit today.  

  • 3rd – 7th Crazy Week –
  • Monday 3rd: Red, White and Blue Parade 10am-10:30am:
  • Please dress your child in red, white and blue.

Reminder: We are CLOSED Friday, September 1st AND Monday, September 4th: Regular
Tuition rates apply for both weeks as per our policy.

Room 4 & 5 families: We are sending out the summer permission slips now. You may sign all
permission slips and write one check for all summer field trips. Or I will send out individual
permission slips as we approach each trip. Due dates are written on the permissions slips.
However, we will happily take them early. Please note that permission slips will only be
accepted with fees.

This is for a few reasons.
1: This will reassure you, so that you see how we organize and coordinate a fieldtrip.
2: So we can get to know how your child reacts to being out of a school setting.

Additional notes: If we do not have an enough chaperone we will cancel our fieldtrip. The
safety of our children is number 1 priority. Without parent volunteers’ fieldtrips would not be
